2020 Tryout Information

The Ohio Thunder is holding tryouts for the 2020 season July 8^th & 15^th with a limited makeup for 14U on July 22^nd. Please click here to register beforehand. Come be part of a team that values competition, player development, and having fun playing baseball. Based in Powell, OH, we offer an indoor training facility, experienced coaches, and access to high quality fields.

We generally field multiple teams at all age levels based on skill level and interest. This allows all players to get the most out of the Thunder experience while preparing for competition at higher levels.

Tryout Details

Monday, July 8 (5:30 PM Check-In, 6:00 Tryouts begin)

• 8U-11U: Olentangy Liberty High School Complex
• 12-13U: Hyatts Middle School Baseball Field

Monday, July 15 (5:30 PM Check-In, 6:00 Tryouts begin)

• 8U-13U (Makeup) & 14U: Olentangy Liberty High School Complex

Monday, July 22 (5:30 PM Check-In, 6:00 Tryouts begin)

• 14U (Makeup): Olentangy Liberty High School Complex

The Thunder is also looking for qualified coaches at the 8U and 9U levels, so please indicate interest on the registration form.

We will not have a 15U team in 2020, and will announce 16U & 17U in later posts. The age group is determined by the player’s age on May 1, 2020. Players only need to attend one session for their age group. If for some reason a player is unable to make the scheduled tryouts, please contact us to see if arrangements can be made.
