Andy Gardner
President
Andy is father to four boys (currently two in Thunder program). He is a Real Estate professional specializing in investment properties and home renovations. Andy played two years of college baseball for Ashland University. He’s lived in the Olentangy school district since 2007, and is committed to maintaining a competitive community-based travel program.

Grace Grant
Director of Softball
Grace manages the softball program and brings years of coaching and playing experience as a former intercollegiate softball player and All-Ohio pitcher. She and her husband have 5 children including a son in Thunder baseball and a daughter in Thunder softball. Grace has over 15 years of experience in financial services, currently serving as a nonprofit executive in the insurance industry.

Scott Marple
Director of Baseball Operations
Scott coordinates field maintenance and organization-wide baseball instruction, helping ensure a consistent high-quality approach across the organization. He is the former varsity head baseball coach at Dublin Scioto H.S. He’s a member of the Ohio Dominican Athletic Hall of Fame, and played professional baseball for five seasons. Scott has one son playing for the Thunder.

Steve Graham
Equipment and Fundraising Director
Steve manages program fundraising, equipment and uniforms for the program. He is a former collegiate athlete who now spends most of his free time coaching his two children and silver lab in various sports. Steve holds an MBA and is a marketing professional.

Chris Garber
Secretary
Chris handles the “behind the scenes” work for the Thunder, including administrative, communications, umpires, and technical issues. He has three children, including a son playing his seventh year for Thunder baseball and a daughter in Thunder softball. He works as a corporate lawyer, and is also a published baseball author, a licensed umpire, and Driveline-certified baseball coach.

Kurt Eichorn
Director
Kurt and his wife Sarah have four children and live in the Olentangy School District. He played college baseball at Kent State University from 2003-2006 and was a part of three Mid American Conference Championships. He has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years. For the Thunder, he coordinates field maintenance and organization-wide baseball instruction, helping ensure a consistent high-quality approach across the organization.

Andy Thorne
Director of Finance
Andy joined the Thunder Board in September 2019, and takes the lead on financial issues, along with providing other leadership and support. His son is currently a member of the 12U team. An Ohio State grad, Andy works in banking, and has experience coaching youth soccer and baseball.
